Cotton House is in the former headquarters of the Association of Cotton House Manufacturers. The iconic building is in every way representative of the XIX century, a period that has marked the spirit and culture of Barcelona.
The hotel has 83 elegant and comfortable rooms, of which five are spacious suites. The entrance of the emblematic building is a beautiful vestibule covered in mirrors, followed by a hall which then gives access to two stairways: one, a grand marble staircase, and the other, a spiral staircase built in the ’50s that received much acclamation among experts in architecture. The old noble areas of the building contain an elegant library, several great rooms and lounges where the bar and restaurant are located, a luminous glass conservatory, and a 300 sqm terrace with lush vegetation. On the sixth floor, there is a serene exterior pool, a small gym, and a massage room.

The Oriente Atiram, is a hotel located in Las Ramblas de Barcelona, this famous street of the city has important monuments like: El Liceu or el Mercado de la Boqueria.
Barceloneta‘s beach is within a 15 minutes walk, but if you still want to go further, you can always take the metro (Liceu’s stop) which is 1 minute away from the hotel and you can move easily through the whole city.

Upon return, we stayed at the Novotel right next to Torre Abgar. Our very nice room looked out upon it at night. Quite a sight! The subway was only a block away- a five-minute ride to La Rambla.
A two-day ticket for the Hop On/Hop Off bus can be purchased.”

‘On the prettiest boulevard in Barcelona. Amazing staff and beautifully finished rooms. Our bed was perfect – better than our own at home. Instead of chocolates of the night turn down a hand lotion instead. Very nice touch. The rooms were roomy and had a good bathroom. The windows opened but our room facing the side street was a little noisy but our choice was to have it open for fresh air. Cleanliness and linen are beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and the outdoor balcony was stunning. Centrally located and a short walk to the Gothic Quarter and surrounded by high-end shopping. A must return location on our next adventure to Barcelona. ‘

The hotel conserves the original façade of the palace built on this site in 1929 when Barcelona was celebrating its second Universal Exhibition.
